Survivors and Those Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer to Model for the Susan G. Komen New England Catwalk for the Cure
Fashion Show Featuring Those Living with Breast Cancer and Local Vendors to Raise Funds for Breast Cancer Patient Support and Research
(BOSTON, MA) February 12, 2019 – Susan G. Komen® New England is once again hosting Catwalk for the Cure, on Friday, March 8th at The Innovation and Design Building in Boston. Catwalk for the Cure is a fun, high-energy cocktail party, silent auction, program and fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors, those living with metastatic breast cancer, and local celebrities wearing the latest fashion trends from Boston-based designers. Kennedy Elsey will serve as the evening’s emcee.
Catwalk for the Cure is presented in partnership with 33 MUNROE LLC, and supported by sponsors Abosolut Vodka, and Beefeater Gin. The evening will begin at 6:30 pm with a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, and samplings from several local vendors. Vendors will include Blistabloc, Sephora and MiniLuxe. The fashion show begins promptly at 8 pm.
Models will be dressed by designers Catarina Abreu Julie Kontos, Drea, Charel Murrell and Stephanie Raymond. The fashion show will also feature two celebrity models, Bachelor Contestant Chelsea Roy, and Mix 104.1 Radio Personality and Survivor Erin O’Malley.
All proceeds raised support families with the greatest need in the local fight against breast cancer and aid in Susan G. Komen’s efforts to fund research to find a cure. Catwalk for the Cure tickets are $75 and can be purchased here.
