This October we’re bringing the community together for National Breast Cancer Awareness month, along with the following committed businesses.

 

EVENTS

Pink Party

Pink Party is a fabulous outdoor fashion show where all of the models are breast cancer survivors and thrivers and is put on by the Hartford Courant that takes place in Blue Black Square in West Hartford, CT. It is an incredible, lively event that fills the streets with live music, entertainment and activities for all ages! All of the proceeds for the night benefit Susan G. Komen New England and the fight against breast cancer. Save the date – Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5PM-8PM.

WheelHouse Indoor Cycling

WheelHouse Indoor Cycling in Andover, MA is hosting 3 donation-based classes on Sunday, September 30th at 8AM, 9:15Am and 10:30AM. The classes are 45 minutes, rhythm based spin classes designed to make you move, sweat and connect! A total body workout that will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to tackle whatever comes your way! WheelHouse will be donating all of the proceeds for the morning classes.

Rock of Ages

Rock of Ages will be playing at the Wang Theatre in Boston, MA from October 23-28. Save 20% with code ‘Komen’ AND $10 of your ticket sales will be donated to Komen New England. Buy your tickets now at Bochcenter.com.

Get Air Vermont

Get Air in Williston, Vermont is hosting a fundraising night on Thursday, October 4th from 5pm-10pm. During this time, 20% of all admission sales will be donated to Komen New England.

Sugarfina

Sugarfina, a luxury candy boutique in the Prudential building in Boston, MA, is hosting a candy tasting party on Thursday, September 27th from 4pm-6pm. Sugarfina will be donating 15% of all proceeds made during the event.

Weichert Real Estate

On October 23rd, the Weichert Real Estate office in Norwell, MA is hosting an in-office fundraiser in support of Komen New England with a raffle, 50/50 and bake sale!

 

ONGOING PARTNERSHIPS

Absolut

Pernod Ricard, parent company to Absolut Vodka is releasing a new grapefruit flavor this October. To celebrate, several restaurants throughout New England are partnering with Pernod Ricard by donating to Komen New England and creating special More Than Pink cocktails. A list of participating restaurants will be available soon.

Tara Starr Photography

The Swan Boudoir Studio by Tara Starr Photography specializes in empowering woman by giving them a life-changing luxury portrait experience in a safe supportive environment in Reading, MA. During the month of October, Tara will donate 50% of each session that is booked or takes place in the month of October. Survivors that book in the month of October will receive 50% off their session.

The Negg

The Negg® Egg Peeler will be dedicating 10% of eCommerce sales to Susan G. Komen New England for the month of October 2018 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In addition, new Negg® orders will receive a complimentary pastry bag and tip, creating the perfect deviled egg kit! The Negg®Team feels strongly about supporting family and friends through their respective fights with breast cancer.

Yankee Oil

For every oil delivery done in the month of October, Yankee Oil will pledge to donate $5 to the Susan G Komen New England fight against breast cancer.

Hydro-Cutter

Hydro-Cutter is painting one of their 2018 Skid Steer Snow Pusher pink this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month! You can enter for a chance to win the pink Snow Pusher for a small donation, please see their website for additional information on how to enter.

Studio Barre

Studio Barre will be honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month throughout all of October! Free classes will be available to Breast Cancer Survivors all month long. They will be hosting a large raffle in conjunction with their anniversary celebration on October 18th and the studio will be “pinked out” all month. Komen New England will be the beneficiary of all fundraising efforts.
