This October we’re bringing the community together for National Breast Cancer Awareness month, along with the following committed businesses.

 

EVENTS

Pink Party

Pink Party is a fabulous outdoor fashion show where all of the models are breast cancer survivors and thrivers and is put on by the Hartford Courant that takes place in Blue Black Square in West Hartford, CT. It is an incredible, lively event that fills the streets with live music, entertainment and activities for all ages! All of the proceeds for the night benefit Susan G. Komen New England and the fight against breast cancer. Save the date – Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5PM-8PM.

WheelHouse Indoor Cycling

WheelHouse Indoor Cycling in Andover, MA is hosting 3 donation-based classes on Sunday, September 30th at 8AM, 9:15Am and 10:30AM. The classes are 45 minutes, rhythm based spin classes designed to make you move, sweat and connect! A total body workout that will leave you feeling refreshed, inspired and ready to tackle whatever comes your way! WheelHouse will be donating all of the proceeds for the morning classes.

Rock of Ages

Rock of Ages will be playing at the Wang Theatre in Boston, MA from October 23-28. Save 20% with code ‘Komen’ AND $10 of your ticket sales will be donated to Komen New England. Buy your tickets now at Bochcenter.com.

Get Air Vermont

Get Air in Williston, Vermont is hosting fundraising nights every Thursday throughout October from 5pm-10pm. During this time, 20% of all admission sales will be donated to Komen New England.

Sugarfina

Sugarfina, a luxury candy boutique in the Prudential building in Boston, MA, is hosting a candy tasting party on Thursday, September 27th from 4pm-6pm. Sugarfina will be donating 15% of all proceeds made during the event.

A|M Fitness

On October 14th, A|M Fitness in Plainville, CT is celebrating the grand opening of Jane’s Place Smoothie Bar by hosting a fundraising class benefiting SGK New England. Follow Jane’s Place and A|M Fitness on Facebook to learn more about the event!

Health Works Fitness

On Wednesday, October 17 starting at 6:30 PM, Health Works Fitness is hosting More Than Pink Sip and Spin classes at each of their clubs in the greater Boston area. Health Works will be partnering with Absolut Grapefruit to provide delicious cocktails for attendees after their ride. All rides will be donation based with all proceeds benefiting Komen New England.

New Leaf Salon and Spa

New Leaf Salon & Spa wants to gift two lucky survivors a makeover! Haircut, color, balayage, brows, makeup – whatever you need, you’ll get! New Leaf will also be partnering with Sassyyou boutique to get you an outfit to go with your new look. Makeover will happen on Friday, October 19th in Northborough, MA. Weichert Real Estate

On October 23rd, the Weichert Real Estate office in Norwell, MA is hosting an in-office fundraiser in support of Komen New England with a raffle, 50/50 and bake sale!

Waypoint Spirits

On Saturday October 28th, Waypoint Spirits in Bloomfield, CT is hosting a Boo-Zy Brunch Cocktail Competition to help Fight Breast Cancer! Entrance gets you a tour and a seat at the judging panel for each of the cocktails prepared by competing bartenders! Tickets are $15 per person with proceeds going to benefit Susan G. Komen New England.

Survivors that book in the month of October will receive 50% off their session.

The Negg

The Negg® Egg Peeler Team supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation and all of its initiatives. In honor of cancer awareness month, the Negg will donate 10% of all pink Negg sales to the Susan G. Komen foundation for the month of October. As an added bonus, each pink Negg® order will receive a complimentary pastry bag and tip, creating the perfect deviled egg kit! The Negg® Team is honored to collaborate with the foundation to help find the cure.

Yankee Oil

For every oil delivery done in the month of October, Yankee Oil will pledge to donate $5 to the Susan G Komen New England fight against breast cancer.

Hydro-Cutter

Hydro-Cutter is painting one of their 2018 Skid Steer Snow Pusher pink this October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month! You can enter for a chance to win the pink Snow Pusher for a small donation, please see their website for additional information on how to enter.

Studio Barre

Studio Barre will be honoring Breast Cancer Awareness month throughout all of October! Free classes will be available to Breast Cancer Survivors all month long. They will be hosting a large raffle in conjunction with their anniversary celebration on October 18th and the studio will be “pinked out” all month. Komen New England will be the beneficiary of all fundraising efforts.

Century Fitness

During the month of October, Century Fitness is helping to bring awareness and raise funds for Susan G. Komen New England. Throughout the month, Century Fitness will be selling pink t-shirts, berry pink protein shakes, hosting pinked-out Zumba classes and providing chances to win prizes. Yipes!

Yipes Auto & Graphics from Williston, VT is giving back this Breast Cancer Awareness month. When you buy a remote car starter from Yipes! in Williston this October, we’ll donate $25 to the Susan G Komen Affiliate of New England. So far, we’ve raised over $5,000! Yipes! carries and installs the latest technology in remote starters… and we’ll double the manufacturer’s warranty.

Orangetheory

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Orangetheory Woburn and Wellseley are supporting Komen New England. They will hold pink classes were a portion of proceeds will be donated. You can register for classes and donate to their fundraiser by visiting their website.

Pure Romance

Pure Romance is donating 10% of all online sales during the month of October. Thank you gifts will be sent out to everyone that purchase during the month! Pure Romance will also donate 15% of profits from all parties that are booked or held in October.

Direct Tire & Auto

Direct Tire & Auto has been in business for 44 years, and to celebrate, this October they are donating $44 for each set of tires sold during the month! Direct Tire & Auto has locations all over Massachusetts and offers an array of auto and tire services.

RevoluSun

This October, RevoluSun of Burlington, MA will be donating $50 to Susan G. Komen New England for every new customer that signs this month. Revolusun is asking you to go solar and help end breast cancer.

Tuck’s Truck Company

Winter is coming, and Tuck’s Truck Company of Hudson, MA wants you to be prepared! From now until November 16th, you can enter a chance to win a pink Fisher XV2 Pink Snow Plow to get you through the snow this season. One entry is available for $25, three entries for $50 and eight entries for $100. The proceeds will be donated to Komen New England.

Ashby Police

For the month of October, Ashby police department is bringing awareness to northern Massachusetts with their pink badges and handcuffs! All officers will also be handing out breast cancer literature all month long.

MAX Challenge

The MAX Challenge is partnering up with Susan G. Komen this October by donating proceeds of their limited edition “It Never Gets Easier, You Get Stronger” shirts. Visit the South Windsor, CT location to get your shirt!

Bobby’s Burger Palace

During the month of October, Bobby’s Burger Palace of Mohegan Sun Casino, owned by chef and restaurateur Bobby Flay will be donating 50% from all sales of their strawberry and cream milkshake to Susan G. Komen New England. Purchase your strawberry and cream milkshake today!
