Help Wanted: Komen New England Seeking Peer Reviewers
Peer reviewers assist Komen New England by reviewing grant applications submitted by organizations from across our service area (Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine). Applicants are applying for funding for programs that increase access to breast cancer screening, diagnostics, navigation, treatment, treatment support services and education.
Your work as a peer reviewer ensures that we are providing breast health and support programs that meet the most critical needs in our community. Our goal is to fund the programs that will have the greatest impact in our service area, not the most number of programs. Being a peer reviewer is an excellent way to learn more about Komen programs and help us further our mission to end breast cancer.
Peer reviewers will attend a video-call training in December and will begin the review process in early January. The reviewers will meet by video call in early February to finalize the grant slate.
