Become a Volunteer

Use your talents in our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever!  Volunteers provide countless hours contributing their skills to further the Susan G. Komen® promise. Every minute you spend helping gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer. Each year, hundreds of survivors, thrivers, and activists will volunteer their time, talent and resources in support of our work. Whether you volunteer once a week, once a month or once a year, we welcome your help and respect your time.

Grant Reviewer
Become a grant reviewer today. A fair and independent review process is essential for a strong grants program. Grant reviewers read, score, comment on and rank grant applications based on the instructions and criteria provided by Affiliate staff and/or the Grants Chair. The review panel works together to develop a slate of grants to be presented to the Affiliate Board of Directors for approval. Click here for the full description.

Please submit a letter of interest to Ryan Tollefson at In the letter, please let us know why you are interested and what personal or professional skills you have that will help guide Komen New England in funding the most impactful programs in our area.

Join us as a volunteer for one of our three MORE THAN PINK Walks! Show your passion for the breast cancer cause and take action. Prove that you too are MORE THAN PINK®.

We welcome any and all fun-loving, enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals who are willing to contribute to the success of this important event.

By volunteering, you’ll help make your local event a success, which in turn will help Komen fund breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. Not only will you make an impact in the fight against breast cancer, you will also have fun, feel rewarded and meet some truly incredible people—survivors, family members, allies and more, all of whom have been impacted by this devastating disease.

Impact Ride
Join us as an Impact Ride Volunteer! Like our Race for the Cure events, our cycling event raises critical funds to support programs that help our neighbors affected by breast cancer. Stay tuned for 2018 Impact Ride volunteer opportunities.
