Become a Volunteer
Use your talents in our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever! Volunteers provide countless hours contributing their skills to further the Susan G. Komen® promise. Every minute you spend helping gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer. Each year, hundreds of survivors, thrivers, and activists will volunteer their time, talent and resources in support of our work. Whether you volunteer once a week, once a month or once a year, we welcome your help and respect your time.

Race for the Cure®
We host our signature Race for the Cure events annually to raise funds and awareness for the local fight against breast cancer, celebrate breast cancer survivors and thrivers and honor those who have lost their battle with the disease. We hold two Races in Connecticut, and one each in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
We welcome any and all fun-loving, enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals who are willing to contribute to the success of these important events.
By volunteering, you’ll help make your local event a success, which in turn will help Komen fund breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment. Not only will you make an impact in the fight against breast cancer, you will also have fun, feel rewarded and meet some truly incredible people—survivors and thrivers, family members, allies and more, all of whom have been impacted by this devastating disease.
Stay tuned for 2018 Race for the Cure volunteer opportunities.
